Your despatch 2nd September 1919 423 Valentine does not wish to remain in the service of government

on completion of term of service next January. Should

be glad if suitable candidate may be appointed so as to

arrive not later than middle of January. Knowledge of

diagnosis and treatment of disease of the eyes would

be useful qualifications otherwise as usual despatch

follows by mail.
